In Session 3 – Mixed Media, our Pierce Hammock Elementary students had a blast creating art inspired by the delicious drink boba tea! With many color combinations and beautiful boba tea pearls, there were endless creative options for this art project to make everyone unique!

Session three mixed media at Pierce Hammock Elementary started off sugary sweet with an exciting cupcake project! Students got to use heavy gel mixed with acrylic paint to create colorful frosting for their cupcakes, along with adding art sprinkles as a fun detail and vanilla spray to make the cupcakes smell it as real as they looked!:)

Our Pierce Hammock students used acrylic paint to create Scenic tropical beach paintings! Using a lighter color palette, students learned how to create depth and add highlights to add realistic touches to their beach scene!

Our Pierce Hammock students had fun using a darker color palette with acrylic paint to create these exciting firework paintings! Painting the background black first, before adding fireworks, allowed the students to really see the layering power of acrylic paint!
