Sweet & Salty by the Wednesday 3-5 Artists at Marsh Pointe
Students got to be a little sweet and salty for this watercolor art project! Students painted their favorite fruit and while the watercolor was still wet they sprinkled salt on top! After the watercolor was dry they removed the salt, and what was left behind was added fun, unique texture!
Monochromatic Study – Marsh Pointe 3rd – 5th Grade
Students learned about monochromatic colors and how to take all the variations of a single hue, shade, and tone and put them into beautiful crystals for this painting project!
Pierce Hammock Creates Acrylic Fireworks with Dark Palette
Our Pierce Hammock students had fun using a darker color palette with acrylic paint to create these exciting firework paintings! Painting the background black first, before adding fireworks, allowed the students to really see the layering power of acrylic paint!
