The fee covers 10 classes each session but what if there is a holiday on the day my child typically has class, does that mean she or he is losing a class?
No absolutely not, I schedule the classes to not include holidays or days off and your child will always have all 10 classes. In the event we can only schedule less than 10 classes, the registration fee is prorated.
If my child misses a class is there a makeup day?
There is no official makeup day as it would be really hard to find one day that would work for everybody's schedule. However, if your child attends a school where I have multiple classes during the week he or she is free to join any other class that week to make up a missed day!
If a hurricane forces school closure and my child misses a class what can be done?
I will gladly extend class time by an additional 15 minutes for the subsequent classes in order to make up for the lost time due to a storm.
I want to sign my child up but I am having a hard time financially. Is there any way that I can set up a payment schedule?
Yes! I want your child to participate, and I am happy to work with you to set up a payment schedule that will work for all of us. Please feel free to email me and we can work something out!
How many students total can you take per class? Do the classes fill up quickly?
I can take up to 20 students per class and once that number is reached I cannot accept any more students until the next session. Yes, classes fill up quickly! Please sign up at your earliest convenience!
My child is nervous about joining a new program. If he or she finds this is not a good fit, will I get a refund?
Yes, a prorated refund absolutely will be issued! But please be aware this decision has to be made by the end of the second class in order to qualify for the prorated refund. After that time frame supplies have been ordered for the entire session and no refunds will be offered. The first two classes are a no risk trial period.
I am really looking forward to seeing my child's art. When will I be able to view it?
Sketchbooks will be brought home at the end of each session to share with family and friends! They will be kept in the classroom during the session period so that students do not forget to bring their sketchbook back to the following class. If your student signs up for the next session, they will then bring their sketchbooks back on that start date to continue creating more art in until their book is filled. Then they will receive a brand new one!
